AF is a national network of 115 non-profit organizations involved in such diverse areas as art and culture, education, health, science and technology, environment, and social development. Organized in November 1972, AF aims to: foster broader public understanding of the nature, coordination and cooperation among member foundations for optimum issues raised collectively by members; and, to serve as a "clearing house" for information and consequently to establish, maintain and operate a central file of foundation materials and to prepare and update a directory of Philippine foundations.

CBD is a coalition of nine NGO networks operating in the Bicol region. Established in 1992, it is committed to the following goals: (1) increasing environmental consciousness among Bicolanos and improving their capacity to conserve, manage and protect vital natural ecosystems; (2) undertaking programs and projects toward the realization of an effective agrarian reform program; (3) enhancing the capability and participation of communities in local governance, so as to help them achieve greater control over the management of their own resources and the promotion of their members' welfare; (4) improving government's delivery of health services, and (5) improving the capacity of Bicolanos in the area of disaster preparedness and management. The coalition has been active in such endeavors as the formulation and population of a regional development agenda, strengthening provincial formations, and engaging in peoples' enterprise development.

MINCODE is a coalition of nine networks of NGOs and people's organization based in Mindanao. These networks represent various sectors: the church, cooperatives, social development agencies, intermediary organizations and sectoral groups. With close to 600 individual organizations under its umbrella. MINCODE is the biggest coalition of development NGOs in Mindanao. 

MINCODE serves as an advocacy body that raises the needs and aspirations of marginalized sectors for sustainable, gender-fair and participatory development. From 1993 to 1996, its member networks spearheaded regionwide consultations among development NGOs, with the goal of building consensus on an integrated and comprehensive development agenda for Mindanao. Validated in 1996 as the "People's Development Program in Mindanao" (PDPM), this groundbreaking document marks the first time for the Mindanao NGO community to articulate a common development vision for the region. 

The PDPM currently serves as the basis for MINCODE's various endeavors. To ensure its implementation , the network has created five commissions focused on the following concerns: (1) tri-people's concerns, culture and Mindanao history; (2) land use and management ; (3) agriculture and agri-industrialization; (4)politics and local governance; and (5) finance and sustainability.

NATCCO is a national organization of cooperatives composed of six regional development centers, one cooperative insurance arm, one school-based education center, one associate regional housing cooperative federation, and 1,700 cooperatives at the municipal, city and barangay cooperatives. The "NATCCO Network," as it is fondly called, has a total membership of more than one million individuals. NATCCO and its centers provide a whole range of cooperative development programs and services: training and education, research and databanking, audit consultancy, business programs such as financial intermediation, inter-coop trade, cooperative insurance, training center and hostel facilities, and social programs like gender and development, youth involvement in cooperatives, and heath and housing cooperative development.

NASSA is the social arm of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines. Established in 1966, it promotes the participation of the Philippine Catholic Church and people in the transformation of society. PHILSSA is a network of NGOs addressing urban and related concerns. Its conception and birth are closely tied to the attempts of a concerned group of like-minded NGOs to operationalize ethical development practice in the Philippines. Its Code of Ethics, which was later adopted as the Social Development Code of Ethics of CODE-NGO, became the basis of unity of the members. 

It all endeavors, PHILSSA has capitalized on the strength of its members and partner organization in development work. It thus upholds the principles of subsidiarity and complementation. It can be said that these principles are among PHILSSA's unique contribution to the development community. 

PHILSSA has made a name for itself as a coalition-builder, working around the precepts of subsidiarity, complementation and harmonization. It played a key role in the formation of CODE-NGO, which has been known in the development community as a network of networks.

Founded in 1971, PBSP is an association of over 100 companies in the country that allocate a portion of their net profit to social development. Established in 1971, it is involved in community development, small enterprises promotion, environmental conservation, agrarian reform and relief and rehabilitation. PhilDHRRA is a national network of social development organizations committed to pursuit and realization of agrarian reform and rural development in the Philippines. Formally established in 1984, it is part of the chain of DHRRA networks throughout the ASEAN region aspiring for a common vision of rural development in their respective countries. 

As of December 1997, there are 65 PhilDHRRA member-NGOs operating in about 70 of the 70 of the 75 provinces of the Philippines. The PhilDHRRA network is involved in a wide range of agrarian reform and rural development activities. These include, among others: resource tenure improvement through agrarian reform; protection of ancestral domains and indigeneous people's rights; upland, lowland and coastal community organizing; empowerment of grassroots communities; sustainable agriculture propagation; appropriate technology development and dissemination; cooperative development; income-generation and management; gender and development; NGO/PO participation in local governance; policy advocacy for agrarian reform and reform development. 

With its commitment to rural development, PhilDHRRA has adopted the Integrated Program for Sustainable Agriculture and Agrarian Reform and Rural Development or IPSAARRD as its core strategy. Concretizing this strategy are initiatives in Sustainable Integrated Area Development (SIAD) in areas where PhilDHRRA members operate.

VISNET consists of 18 networks of development NGOs and POs seeking to develop socially, politically and economically empowered community in the Visayas region. It was established in 1992 after a two-year consultation process, during which a wide range of development NGOs came together to determine issues that they can work on together. VISNET's most important concern is to strengthen the capability of its member networks for effective delivery of services to the community. VISNET aims to facilitate and improve the capacity of provincial networks to gain access to and control of resources, and to participate actively in local governance.
